The AAP in its first term of 49 days in late 2013 and early 2014 had filed four FIRs against the previous government for alleged irregularities but no action was taken by the LG during the year-long President’s Rule.

After Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief MK Meena said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could also be questioned in the tanker scam case along with former CM Sheila Dikshit, the AAP upped the ante against Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Meena demanding that both should be made ‘co-accused’ for their inaction in four cases registered against the Sheila Dikshit government.

Twelve AAP MLAs went to Raj Niwas Wednesday morning to meet the LG but were turned away as they did not seek a prior appointment.
