
LG has started sending media invites for the launch of its X Screen smartphone in India. The smartphone first showcased in March will launch here on Monday. LG X Screen’s only differentiator is its extra edge display for quick notifications (Source: LG)
LG had recently introduced two smartphones under the K series branding in India and with X Screen, the company could try and cement its position in the budget smartphone offerings.
LG X Screen features a 4.93-inch HD display with a second screen which is always on. The USP of this smartphone will be its second display which shows quick notifications without any distraction.
LG X Screen’s 1.76-inch secondary display has a resolution of 520 x 80 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
LG X Screen is just 7.1 mm thick and weighs 120 grams. The smartphone comes with a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie-camera..
LG X Screen is backed by a 2300mAh battery with a rated standby time of up to 120 hours.
