Frankly speaking, we’d so far expected to see the next flagship Galaxy device around March or April. Now rumours are spreading that the Galaxy S7 will be making its public debut as soon as 19 January.
However, Korean media outlets are pinning the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S7 to late February. This makes sense, seeing as Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) runs from 22-25 February, and that the past two main iterations of Samsung’s Galaxy flagship were both announced at MWC. But a Korean outlet has said the launch will happen before MWC, on 19 January.Of course, this would give Samsung a chance to extinguish Apple’s iPhone 6s fire as soon as it can.
