Let’s read the news of Samsung Z2.
Samsung’s alleged Z2 Tizen-powered smartphone has allegedly been spotted in a leaked promotional video suggesting few new features. In the video, the Samsung Z2 can be seen sporting a similar design as seen on the Samsung Z3, which was previous and second handset to be launched in the company’s Tizen lineup of smartphones.
Some of the design features seen in the purported video are textured rear panels and rear camera accompanied by LED flash. The video highlights some of the notable features of the unannounced Samsung Z2 such as Ultra Data Saving Mode which has been lately seen on the company’s entire budget and mid-range smartphones. One of the biggest highlights of the Z2 is it supports 4G, which will make it the first Tizen smartphone to support 4G LTE in the country.
Some of the preloaded apps on the handset showed in the leaked video (posted by Sammobile) include My Money Transfer, which is said to be a new exclusive feature on the Tizen smartphone for the Indian market. The handset is expected to come pre-installed with WhatsApp and Telegram.
The video also confirms some of the specifications including a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The leaked video also suggested that users will be able to adjust brightness of the flashlight of the Z2 Tizen-powered phone.
An earlier report claimed that the Z2 Tizen smartphone may be priced at Rs. 4,499 and would come with a 4.5-inch display, 2000mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM support, and 4G with VoLTE support. Samsung back in January last year launched its first Tizen-based smartphone, the Z1, in India. In October, it launched its successor – the Samsung Z3. The Samsung Z2 will be the third smartphone in the company’s Tizen range.
