The Delhi Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, decided to hold a one-day special session of the Assembly on September 9.
Meanwhile, days after two top officials in the Delhi government’s health and public works department were transferred by LG Najeeb Jung, Kejriwal encouraged the engagement of professionals in handling government projects and suggested that a public debate should be held on the issue.
He tweeted, “We appointed an engineer as PWD secy n a doc as health secy. They did a brilliant job. Modi ji removed them n posted bureaucrats instead. There shud be a public debate-Shud country be run by professionals or bureaucrats?.”
